YOU'RE INVITED

The Chancel Choir comprises women and men who share a love of music and use that common interest to offer praise to God. As the choir prepares and presents music for Sunday morning worship and other special services, members are rewarded by the experience of participating in a very special way in ministry to the worship life of our congregation. An additional reward is becoming part of a close, caring fellowship of singers. The Chancel Choir rehearses in the Main Sanctuary every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. We can always use additional voices. It does not matter if you can read music or not. Just bring your heart and a smile, and be ready to have fun!

CHOIR NOTES

Many of our anthems can be heard and practiced by clicking on the following link: Choir Practice. Right now the Choir consists of the following parts, Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Bass. We are always in need of more Basses and Altos. They seem to be a minority right now. Please come and have fun with us.

Choir Director Message

Dear Choir

We are into the new year and are excited about 2008! We have a lot of talent in the choir and it's great to see all of you as you grow together through sharing your gifts and talents with the church. The ministry you provide touches people by truely helping them to focus in on the one and only God whom we worship. For that I am grateful and I thank you. As I begin my third year as your music director I'm more optomistic than I've ever been about the music ministry at Community United Methodist Church. Keep growing and praying for our church, our ministry, and for each other.'

Psalms 66:1 - To the choirmaster. A Song. A Psalm. Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth; indeed we have made that and more.

FEEDBACK

Please let us know what you think? Did we do a good job Sunday? Would you like to hear the Choir sing a personal favorite of yours? Do you know someone who would like to sing but is too afraid, or is waiting patiently for us to ask them? Whatever it is we would love to hear your thoughts, and words. Please, drop us an email or a written note in the offertory plate. Brothers and Sisters,
