Missions Programs

For Haiti With Love is an all-denominational Christian organization. There is no major source of funding, it is a total faith ministry. Don DeHart made his first trip to Haiti in the winter of 1968-1969. For Haiti With Love was incorporated in 1982 by Don and Eva DeHart and is needed as much, if not more, today. This is one of the primary supported missions of the Community United Methodist Church of Oldsmar. Why? The financial help is not an on going finacial support program but a program that helps people that are having trouble paying bills a couple times a year. We would like to thank our local Walmart for their support of this program.

The Community Closet is a program that provides clothes and toys to anybody that needs them. It is open from 9:00am to 12:00pm every Saturday for parents and their kids to come and shop. The clothes and toys are collected through donations and provided at no charge. No questions are asked of the people shopping, everyone is welcome. Click on the pictures to enlarge.

The Food Bank provides food to people in need. It is not an on going support program but a program to help people that occasionally need help making it through the month with food. We have a well stocked supply of non-perishable food items. Click on the picture to enlarge.
